(12/7, Ahmed, Subscription Publication) reports that as part of an agreement with Pfizer, Ranbaxy Laboratories Ltd has released a generic version of Caduet (amlodipine besylate/atorvastatin calcium), a Pfizer medication used to treat high blood pressure or angina in patients with high cholesterol. Ranbaxy is a part of Daiichi Sankyo Co, which recently launched a generic version of Lipitor [atorvastatin].
