Reuters (4/27, Norton) reports that according to a
study
published online April 3 in the journal Diabetes Care, people who
consume the most servings of a wide variety of vegetables and fruit as
part of their regular diet may have less risk for developing type 2
diabetes. Researchers arrived at this conclusion after studying 3,704
middle-aged and senior adults in the UK for a period of about 11 years.
