Cilostazol May Help Improve Platelet Inhibition In CKD Patients.

MedWire Share to FacebookShare to Twitter (12/7) reports, "Adding cilostazol to antiplatelet therapy improves platelet inhibition in patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) undergoing hemodialysis," according to research Share to FacebookShare to Twitter published in the American Heart Journal. Investigators found that "the addition of cilostazol to clopidogrel was superior to treatment with clopidogrel alone, even when the maintenance clopidogrel dose was doubled from 75 mg to 150 mg."
