Low Levels Of HDL Cholesterol May Not Be Linked To Increased Risk Of Heart Attack.

Reuters Share to FacebookShare to Twitter (12/2, Seaman) reports that, according to a study published in the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism, low levels of HDL cholesterol may not be linked to increased risk of heart attack. Dr. Christopher Cannon, the editor of the American College of Cardiology's website, says that individuals with low levels of HDL cholesterol also tend to have several other risk factors for cardiovascular disease.
