Secondhand smoke may increase risk of death from other causes.

Reuters (6/15, Norton) reports that a recent study published in the journal Chest indicates that people who are regularly exposed to secondhand smoke may have a higher risk of dying from various causes. According to Reuters, the researchers found that adults who were regularly exposed to smoke were more likely than those who were not to die of such conditions as heart disease, lung cancer, stroke and emphysema.
