Increased Fruit, Vegetable Consumption Associated With Decreased Type 2 Diabetes Risk

Reuters Share to FacebookShare to Twitter (4/27, Norton) reports that according to a study Share to FacebookShare to Twitter published online April 3 in the journal Diabetes Care, people who consume the most servings of a wide variety of vegetables and fruit as part of their regular diet may have less risk for developing type 2 diabetes. Researchers arrived at this conclusion after studying 3,704 middle-aged and senior adults in the UK for a period of about 11 years.
